Lisa Joy White, a 13-year-old resident of Vernon, Connecticut, vanished on November 1, 1974. The previous evening, she had been apprehended for underage drinking, leading her parents to ground her. After her mother departed for work at 4:30 p.m., Lisa clandestinely left her home to visit a friend on Prospect Street in Rockville, approximately two miles away. She was last seen around 8:00 p.m., walking along Prospect Street towards her home. Tragically, she never arrived and has not been heard from since.
