A Missing Man from Eufaula
Paul Wayne Barnett was 48 years old when he disappeared from Eufaula, Oklahoma, in 2017. Public missing-person records identify Barnett as an American Indian/Alaska Native man and an enrolled member of the Muscogee Nation. He was known by the nickname “Squirrely.” His disappearance is associated with McIntosh County, and his case has remained on Oklahoma missing-person and cold-case listings for years. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System identifies his case as MP39291, while the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s current Missing Person Index continues to classify Paul Barnett as missing.
The Last Known Contact
The most widely reported account of Barnett’s disappearance places his last known contact on June 1, 2017. According to information drawn from missing-person records, Barnett’s sister took him to a store that day. Nothing about the publicly released description of that trip suggests that it was expected to become the beginning of a prolonged disappearance. The available records do not identify the store, describe what Barnett purchased, or provide a detailed account of where he went immediately afterward. What is documented is that June 1 became the pivotal date in the case—the last contact date carried by NamUs and several organizations that reproduce its information.

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
