Terrance Lee Schram, born on September 12, 1955, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, led a life that seemed promising and structured. Enlisting in the United States Navy in the late 1970s, Schram dedicated himself to serving his country. By 1981, he was stationed aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga, homeported in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Fateful Leave and Subsequent Disappearance
In June 1981, Schram was granted leave from his naval duties. He returned to his hometown of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, with plans to visit his girlfriend in Montreal, Quebec.
