Introduction

In the early hours of June 25, 2024, the tranquil community of Mira Monte in Ojai, California, was shaken by the sudden disappearance of 21-year-old Zyanya Valora. Diagnosed with autism, Zyanya is considered an at-risk dependent adult. Her unexpected departure has since mobilized local authorities, family members, and the broader community in an intensive search effort that continues to this day.

The Night She Vanished

Zyanya was last seen at her residence on the 11100 block of North Ventura Avenue around 8:00 p.m. on June 24, 2024. Later that night, at approximately 2:00 a.m., she left her home, possibly through her bedroom window, as the screen was found removed.
