On January 9, 2025, 76-year-old Victor Garcia was reported missing from his residence on Iris Avenue in Sunnyvale, California. Family members noted that he left his home between 7:00 p.m. on January 8 and 11:30 a.m. the following day. Despite showing signs of dementia, Garcia had not been formally diagnosed. His sudden departure without communication raised immediate concerns among his loved ones and local authorities.
Community and Law Enforcement Response
In the days following his disappearance, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety intensified efforts to locate Garcia. They utilized drones, reviewed available surveillance footage, and issued a Silver Alert through the California Highway Patrol.
