On November 13, 2024, Anchorage resident and esteemed Qigong instructor, Jitka Storm, was reported missing. Her sudden disappearance has left the community in shock and has prompted an ongoing investigation by the Anchorage Police Department.

Originally drawn to Alaska by its vast landscapes and clear air, Jitka cherished the state's natural beauty. She often expressed how her exercise routines, especially when practiced during Alaska’s endless sunsets, brought her renewed energy and a sense of connection.
