Initial Disappearance in DeSoto
On March 7, 2022, 13-year-old Avery Potts was last seen leaving her school in DeSoto, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. She did not return home that day, prompting immediate concern from her family and local authorities. The DeSoto Police Department, in collaboration with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, launched an extensive search, believing that Avery might still be in the DeSoto area or possibly in nearby cities such as Dallas or Fort Worth. At the time of her disappearance, Avery was described as a biracial female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds.
Subsequent Disappearances in Dallas
Tragically, Avery's case did not end there. On July 19, 2022, reports emerged of her being missing again, this time from Dallas, Texas. Details surrounding this second disappearance remain scarce, but it intensified concerns about her safety and well-being.
