On April 16, 1994, the bustling city of Honolulu was shaken by a heinous crime. David L. Walden, a 51-year-old executive, was fatally shot in the parking lot of 711 North Nimitz Highway. Witnesses reported that two individuals on a motorcycle approached Walden; the passenger dismounted, shot him, and then fled the scene on the motorcycle driven by the accomplice. Both assailants wore helmets, concealing their identities, and vanished without a trace.
