Reginald Reed, a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot while sitting in his car in Chicago’s West Garfield Park neighborhood. The incident occurred on March 29, 2008, in the 4100 block of West Congress Parkway. According to reports, Reed was approached by an unknown assailant and shot multiple times, including a fatal wound to the head. He was rushed to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m. that Saturday.
