Kirk Flowers, aged 26, was found shot to death on May 14, 2010, in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. His body was discovered wrapped in a bed sheet in the backseat of his red 2008 Dodge Charger, which was parked on the 1400 block of West Rosemont Avenue. Authorities reported that the body showed signs of multiple gunshot wounds and was bound with duct tape. The car itself also had fire damage, particularly in the interior, indicating a possible attempt to destroy evidence.
