Jquinn McCune, aged 30, was fatally shot on July 5, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. He was working as the manager at a Family Dollar store located in the 7900 block of South Ashland Avenue on the city’s South Side. McCune was attempting to prevent a shoplifting incident when he was shot by a suspect who was attempting to steal items from the store. The incident occurred in the late afternoon, and the suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
