Joseph Price, aged 15, was fatally shot on August 21, 2011, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. The incident took place in broad daylight, around 2 p.m., while Price was walking to his brother's home. He was approached by an assailant who shot him in the head. Witnesses reported that the attack appeared to be unprovoked and sudden.
