Kristian J. Peggs, an 18-year-old from Chicago, was fatally shot on January 8, 2012. The shooting took place in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Kristian was reportedly standing outside when he was approached and shot multiple times, a tragic event that underscored the violent beginning of the year in Chicago.
