Carl P. Pate, age 56, was found fatally shot on September 1, 2013, in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood, located on the Far South Side. Pate's body was discovered with a gunshot wound at his home on South Aberdeen Street. According to reports, the incident happened early in the morning, and he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
