In the spring of 2018, the life of a young man, Clifford Michael Patterson III, was tragically cut short. A 20-year-old Black / African American male, he was fatally shot on Friday, April 20, 2018, in a southwest Albuquerque, New Mexico neighborhood. The incident that claimed his life unfolded inside a vehicle and was described by authorities as a deadly altercation.
