Michael "Mikey" Scott Betz Jr., a 7-year-old boy from Albuquerque, New Mexico, tragically lost his life on June 6, 2020, due to gun violence. Mikey was known for his friendly, kind, and energetic personality, bringing joy to everyone around him. He was born on March 22, 2013, to parents Senaida Betz and Michael Betz Sr. and is survived by his brother, Jason “JJ” Betz, and several other family members, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
