In the pre-dawn hours of Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the life of 19-year-old Hispanic male Joseph Morales was tragically cut short. Around 4:30 a.m., officers from the Southeast Area Command were dispatched to the vicinity of Dallas Street NE and Copper Avenue NE following multiple ShotSpotter activations, indicating gunfire in the area.
