Latoya Jackson, aged 28, was found dead on July 18, 2015, in her home in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, along with her three young children. The bodies of her sons, aged 5, 10, and 11, were discovered alongside hers, and all had been deceased for several days. According to the medical examiner, Jackson died of ligature strangulation.
