Amanda "Mandy" Mayne, a 34-year-old resident of Taylorsville, Utah, was fatally shot on August 17, 2022. The suspect in her death was her ex-husband, Taylor Ray Martin.

Mandy Mayne and Taylor Ray Martin were married in 2016 but later divorced. Martin had a history of mental health issues, including bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder, which led to paranoid delusions and a pattern of violent behavior.
