On August 29, 2014, 29-year-old Charity Hall and 41-year-old David Murphy were found deceased in a residence on South Spring Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Emergency responders initially arrived to extinguish a house fire but discovered the two bodies inside. Subsequent autopsies revealed that both victims had sustained fatal gunshot wounds prior to the fire, leading authorities to classify the incident as a double homicide.
