In the early morning hours of October 30, 2021, the life of 30-year-old Xavier Alexander Malone, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Gunshots echoed in the 200 block of Chesnut around 4:30 a.m., prompting a call to dispatch. When officers from the Jonesboro Police Department arrived at Malone's residence, they discovered him inside, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
