On December 13, 2011, 28-year-old Amanda Blaies-Rinaldi was tragically killed in her Phoenix, Arizona home. Her husband, Anthony Rinaldi, a former corrections officer and Army veteran, confessed to the crime shortly after the incident. The couple's two young children, aged 7 and 2, were present in the home at the time of the shooting. The eldest child called 911 to report that his parents were arguing and that he heard gunshots.
