Bruce Crosby, a 20-year-old male, was shot and killed on June 12, 2017, in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood. The incident occurred as part of the ongoing violence that plagued the area, which is well known for struggling with high levels of gang activity and poverty. Crosby was reportedly shot in a drive-by incident, a form of violence that has sadly become common in many Chicago neighborhoods. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple gunshot wounds.
