On January 27, 2023, 32-year-old San Diego resident Raul Rojas Valdez was tragically killed during a series of random shootings that unfolded across San Diego County. The violent spree began around 8:07 p.m. in Spring Valley, where the assailant fired at an individual but did not cause any injuries.
