Kejuan Thomas, a 16-year-old, was tragically shot and killed on August 16, 2017, while playing basketball at a court in the Jeffery Manor neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. The shooting happened in the late afternoon when Tororicius Berry, 25, allegedly approached Thomas and shot him multiple times. Witnesses described the attacker standing over Thomas and continuing to fire.
