On December 5, 2023, 61-year-old Roy Haynes was discovered deceased inside an apartment on McLemore Street in Brownsville, Tennessee. An investigation by the Brownsville Police Department determined that Haynes had been the victim of a homicide, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound on the previous day, December 4, 2023.

As the investigation progressed, authorities identified Richard West, also 61 years old and a resident of North McLemore, as a suspect in the case. According to court fi ...
