On December 5, 2023, 61-year-old Roy Haynes was discovered deceased inside an apartment on McLemore Street in Brownsville, Tennessee. An investigation by the Brownsville Police Department determined that Haynes had been the victim of a homicide, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound on the previous day, December 4, 2023.
