On October 22, 2017, Eduardo A. Pena, aged 21, was tragically killed in what is being investigated as a vehicular homicide in Chicago, Illinois. The incident took place in the Gage Park neighborhood, located on the city's Southwest Side. Pena was driving when his vehicle was intentionally rammed from behind by another driver in a truck.
