On January 17, 2024, six-year-old Emma Alarcon was tragically found deceased alongside her family in their Union, New Jersey home. Authorities determined that her mother, Andrea Alarcon, fatally shot her husband, Ruben, and their two daughters, Scarlett, 9, and Emma, before taking her own life. The Union County Sheriff's Department discovered the bodies while serving an eviction notice at the residence.
