In the late summer of 2023, a shadow fell over the small city of Saline, Michigan, with the untimely death of Cindy Jean Gochis, a 49-year-old Caucasian woman known for her bright presence. Concerns for her safety first arose on Friday, September 29, 2023, when she failed to appear for her job at the IHA Cancer Center.
