On January 5, 2000, 23-year-old Marlon Nelson was found dead in a gruesome homicide near Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Nelson, who was last seen in Orlando earlier that day, was in the company of two unidentified men driving a blue Lexus. His body was discovered on the side of State Road 19 near Revels Road. Nelson had been shot, his body set on fire, and left by the roadside.
