On February 8, 2007, Alfred Mauvais, a 58-year-old resident of Boynton Beach, Florida, was tragically killed while playing cards at a friend's house located at 121 NE 4th Avenue. The incident occurred when a group of armed men stormed into the home, intending to rob the individuals present. As the situation escalated, Mauvais attempted to escape the scene by running outside. Unfortunately, he was fatally shot during the commotion.
The armed men, who spoke Creole, did not wear any facial coverings during the robbery, making their identities harder to conceal but potentially providing some clues to investigators.
