Cole A. Sandifer, a 39-year-old resident of Sulphur, Louisiana, lost his life to gun violence on October 23, 2023. The incident occurred in the Sweet Gum Mobile Home Park in Carlyss, which is located off Highway 1256 south of the I-10 overpass.
The shooting was reported around 3:35 p.m. when a resident of the mobile home park called to report shots fired. Upon arrival, deputies found two victims, including Sandifer, inside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds.
