On September 3, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Chicago Heights, Illinois, resulting in the deaths of David Parra, 30, and Antonio Muñoz, 32. The incident began early in the morning when a dispute erupted between the victims and their neighbors from across West 14th Street. According to family members, the neighbors had come over and threatened violence, prompting Parra to grab a gun and chase them away. However, the neighbors returned, leading to a confrontation that ended in gunfire.
