Jeffery Harris, known by his rap names “Bloodhound Lil Jeff,” “Lil Jeff Hardy,” or “Lil Jeffrey Dahmer,” was a 21-year-old rapper and member of the Bloodhound gang, affiliated with the Drill City set in Chicago. He gained notoriety for claiming responsibility for several violent crimes, including the highly publicized double homicide of Monterio "Drench/Za" Williams and Robert "Lil Rob" Boston, which occurred on January 26, 2024, in downtown Chicago.
Both victims were from the NittyBlock gang.
Harris's rise to infamy was marked by his involvement in a cycle of gang violence. Following the murder of his associate, Z-Money, in March 2023, Harris and the Bloodhound gang escalated their conflict with the Trap City gang. Harris claimed responsibility for several murders, including that of Leo from Trap City, who was shot and killed in June 2023. He also bragged about these killings in his music and had tattoos of Z-Money's initials on his face and trigger finger.
On June 8, 2024, Harris's life came to an end in a violent confrontation. He was attempting to attack members of the Trap City gang in their territory near 66th and Rhodes in Chicago. During the shootout, Harris was killed by Big Rob, a member of the rival gang. The incident was captured on doorbell security footage and showed Harris being shot multiple times, at least 19 times in the chest, after he had been initially shot and fell to the ground. Other members of the Bloodhound gang, including Q50, Bert, and T Slick, were with Harris but were unable to assist him due to the rapid unfolding of events. Q50 later returned to the scene to pick up Harris and took him to the hospital, but it was too late, and Harris was pronounced dead.
