Tommy Howard Spells, age 22, was fatally shot on November 26, 2014, in the Grand Park area of Northwest Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred near the corner of West 23rd and Division Streets. Spells was shot during a drive-by incident involving a mid-size gray sedan while he was standing outside. Despite the presence of multiple potential witnesses in the area, no suspects have been apprehended, and the case remains unsolved.
