On December 10, 2014, 16-year-old Devron Crowden was fatally shot while waiting at his bus stop in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of 13th Street and Canal Street. Crowden's mother had just dropped him off at the bus stop so that he could catch the bus to Raines High School, where he was a student.
