On February 9, 2016, 28-year-old Deonte Jones was shot and killed in the Model City neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The incident occurred at approximately 1272 NW 59th Street. According to reports from the Miami Police Department, Deonte was found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds, and despite attempts to save his life, he succumbed to his injuries.
