On January 5, 2017, 65-year-old Ricardo Soler Reyes was tragically killed during an armed robbery at a pawn shop in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The incident occurred when robbers entered the shop, where Reyes was present as a customer. During the robbery, the suspects fatally shot him. Despite the efforts of Miami-Dade police, the individuals responsible for the crime have not been apprehended, and the case remains open.
