Christopher Scott Bowman, a 39-year-old father, was killed on June 8, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida, in what was a tragic and violent encounter at his home. The incident began when Bowman and his fiancée, Chelsea, responded to a Facebook advertisement for a free puppy. Instead of allowing them to pick up the puppy, the man who posted the ad insisted on coming to their home.
