Christopher Bing, a 25-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, was killed on August 31, 2017, in a tragic shooting. The incident occurred at the Kings Ridge Apartments, where Jacksonville's ShotSpotter system detected gunfire at around 9:52 p.m. Responding to the alert, police discovered that Bing had been shot multiple times by a high-capacity weapon, later identified as a 7.62 rifle.
