On November 2, 2017, 18-year-old Nicholas Williams was shot and killed while walking on Gailwood Circle East in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred on Jacksonville's Northside, and a second teen was also injured in the shooting. According to witnesses, a silver Buick LeSabre approached the two young men, and the occupants of the vehicle opened fire. Williams succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the other individual was wounded but survived.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) conducted an investigation, but there were no initial descriptions of the shooter or further leads to identify the individuals involved. This tragic incident remains unsolved, and authorities are seeking assistance from the public for any information that could help solve the case. First Coast Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to an arrest in connection with this homicide.
