Andrew Cawley disappeared in the days after he was last seen in the Aloha Estates area of Puna, on the morning of December 23, 2020. When family and friends realized they had not seen or heard from him for several days, he was reported missing on December 28, 2020, setting off a search that quickly shifted from worry to dread.
