On November 8, 2008, Bryant Washington, a 19-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was shot and killed in the 4500 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. The incident occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. that evening. According to reports from the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington was found at the scene after sustaining gunshot injuries.
