On a brisk evening in Washington, D.C., the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Twenty-two-year-old Dwayne Antonio Bryant, a Black male, was in the 1900 block of 13th Street, Southeast on Friday, March 8, 2013, when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 10:05 p.m., shattering the late-night quiet of the neighborhood.
