In the summer of 2022, a domestic dispute in Saraland, Alabama, ended in the tragic death of 66-year-old Tommie Junior Smith. On June 11th, Smith was discovered at a local barbecue restaurant with a fatal gunshot wound. Despite efforts to get him to a hospital, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
