On the night of August 28, 2010, in the small Southeast Alaska community of Hoonah, Officer Matthew Dean Tokuoka, a Alaskan Native male age 39, pulled over with his family to chat with his on-duty colleague, Sergeant Anthony “Tony” Wallace, along Front Street.
