On July 22, 2023, 10-year-old Annabelle Mullican tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle crash in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Cherokee Road. Moments before the crash, a Mountain Brook police officer observed an SUV, driven by Annabelle's mother, Dr. Sarah Mullican, traveling at a high rate of speed and swerving on Old Leeds Road.
