On December 1, 2019, 31-year-old Megan Louise Montgomery was found deceased in the parking lot of the Mountain Brook Athletic Complex in Mountain Brook, Alabama. A patrol officer discovered her body face down with multiple gunshot wounds to the back and head. Montgomery's estranged husband, 45-year-old Jason Bragg McIntosh, a former Hoover police officer, was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with her death.
