In the winter of 2019, the life of 31-year-old Megan Louise Montgomery was tragically cut short. On December 1st, her body was discovered in a parking lot of the Mountain Brook Athletic Complex in Alabama, an affluent suburb of Birmingham. She had been shot multiple times, with wounds to her back and head. The ensuing investigation would quickly focus on a man she once trusted, her estranged husband, Jason Bragg McIntosh, a 45-year-old former police officer.
