On September 20, 2020, 27-year-old Rakhem "Rock" Shields was fatally shot during a party in Alabaster, Alabama. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Old Highway 31, where officers responded to reports of a shooting and found Shields deceased at the scene. A woman was also injured in the shooting and transported to UAB Hospital with serious injuries.
