Who murdered Melanie Suzy Cooley in 1975?
On April 15, 1975, 18-year-old Melanie "Suzi" Cooley was last seen leaving Nederland High School in Colorado, hitchhiking near her hometown. Her body was discovered on May 2, 1975, in Coal Creek Canyon, Jefferson County. She had been bludgeoned on the head with a large rock and strangled. Her hands were bound, and her death was immediately classified as a homicide.
